Bible Question (short): is the vow brocken |
Question (full): i would like to know , if someone had to have commited adultary in there marriage, and after a while told the partner and there was forgiveness, and acountability also played a part, and both husband and wife worked through the mess and things are back to normal again and God is still first in there lives and a lesson has been learned. is the covernant between husband and wife now brocken? and if so do they need to re-commit there lives to each other again by means of a vow, in other words do they need to get married again and re-commit there lives to each other and befor God promise to be fauithful to one another till death do them part, you know, like a back slidden christian who recommits his life to the Lord agian. or is a heart felt prayer with both husband and wife alone before God enough, as they together pray and re-commit there live before God almighty and make new and fresh vows? |
