Subject: Do YOU belive in the Bible? |
Bible Note: "Isn't LOVE a feeling? It's through my Love for God and those in need that I attempt to offer my "opinions" or "feelings" (or interpretation of the Bible) not based on a whim, but on my continuing walk with Jesus." Actually, no. Love is a decision. Feelings pass, fluctuate...The decision to love is not based on feelings. The mind, will and emotions (feelings) are carnal tools for functioning in this physical world. But as born again believers, we are to learn to live as spirits led by God's Holy Spirit in the kingdom of God which we were born into. God kind of love is not to be compared to carnal love and can only be comprehended through our spirit as our relationship with Him develops. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. 13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. 14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. When we give opinions that God's words do not support, we are doing the hearer a great injustice. Nothing can provide God's perfect peace and joy but faith in Him. If they choose a lesser path, at least the seeds of truth have been planted. God bless |
