Bible Note: Searcher56, I completely disagree with you. It is a novel idea you have there, to just "get counseling with your spouse." New idea...I'll have to try that! If a man is hard hearted enough to hit a woman, do you really think he is just going to say "OK...I know I have a problem honey, lets all go to counseling." It's not that easy. If he had been that easy to deal with I could have stayed with him. :) To say that a Chrisitan wife of an abusive (CHRISTIAN)husband has to be punished for the rest of her life by being made to be single, is quite contrary to God's nature. I don't think God wants us to suffer because someone else CHOOSES to live a sinful life. |
