Bible Note: John, I'm following lookinforacity on this one but not you. I'm thinking it's a matter of context that's missing from your context. Either that or, you really do mean to say it is not ok to "remarry" somone who is a "widow". Since Scripture clearly allows a widow to remarry I (and lookinfor.. as I understand him/her) don't understand why your saying, and I paraphrase, "remarry... one that has not been......widowed." "...one that has not been married or widowed..." Why not the widowed? That person is free to remarry as specifically taught by Scripture 1Cor 7:39. Reread your quote.
