NASB | 1 Corinthians 2:15 But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one. |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | 1 Corinthians 2:15 But the spiritual man [the spiritually mature Christian] judges all things [questions, examines and applies what the Holy Spirit reveals], yet is himself judged by no one [the unbeliever cannot judge and understand the believer's spiritual nature]. |
Bible Question (short): TO JUDGE |
Question (full): I believe it was Apostle Paul and I am paraphrasing: "It says in the Bible Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged," but are we not to judge the people in our own group or congregation as to their actions ?" I do not have the whole passage, but Paul or someone was referring to something happening in the church, and that the congregation has the right to judge the person as to thier actions. It may not of been Paul, but it was one of the Apostles I am sure. Does anyone know what passage I am referring to in the New Testament ? thank you |
