Subject: IS TONGUES FOR TODAY? |
Bible Note: The Holy Spirit is not an it He is a He. He is God and tongues is AN evidence not THE evidence......And WE RECIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. If have excepted Christ as your Lord and Savior you have the Holy Spirit. YOU SAID******"Yes it is! I am a Pentecostal, and we believe that the evidence of receiving the Holy Ghost(Spirit) is tongues. When you receive the Holy Ghost you are actually accepting Jesus Christ into you, and once It is in you It tells you what to say. Oft times it is a Heavenly language and no one can understand it, and other times it is in a different language that you do not know how to talk but someone who speaks that language can understand you a receive what God has for them through you. It is very much real and very much for today. I have myself received the Holy Ghost and it is the most wonderful feeling you will ever experience. It is Scriptural too! Acts 2:4, Luke 12:12, 1Cor 6:19, Romans 5:5, Isaiah 28:11 ... this is just some of the Scriptures that tell about the Holy Ghost!" |
