Bible Note: Greeting Scribe, I think the situation is not so worse. The pastor believe that "speak in tongue" (1 Cor 14:4) is different from "speak in tongues"(1 Cor 14:5). "Speak in tongue" is to pagan God. "Speak in tongues" is to God. So he conclude that Paul rebuke church of Corinth using "speaking in tongue to pagan god" to edify themself(1 Cor 14:4) |
