Bible Note: I guess you've done a wonderful job of showcasing my point. The word baptism or some derivative thereof is cited in 87 different verses of the Bible, all in the NT. Just to keep things in perspective, the word repent and its derivatives are in the Bible, including both the OT and the NT, a total of 70 times. As my kids used to say, "Duh, what's wronng with this picture? I don't want to belabor the point as I'm sure you've got it by now. It almost seems someone has pulled a big scam on people in deceiving them into believing against this vital step in the Salvation process. But as you say, "people are rarely moved from their perspective." I guess we can only pray that people will re-study the topic and make certain that I'm only citing the truth with this post.
