Subject: Do you have to be baptized to be saved? |
Bible Note: Greetings Samantha! I was really hoping for a little more interaction with what I wrote! :-) What is the difference between an 'obedient faith' and 'works'? In my previous post, I made the point that faith will obey because of what Christ has done (i.e. - salvation). Thus, the order is: 1) Faith, 2) Salvation, 3) Obedience or works. If, by 'obedient faith' you mean: 1) Faith, 2) Obedience or works, 3) Then, salvation. then you are directly contradicting Eph. 2:8-10, Gal. 2, Rom. 4, ect... These passage are quite clear that 'works' do not play any part in our salvation whatsoever. By the way, I notice that in your tag line, you state that if one lives faithfully, till death, one will be saved by grace. Are Christians saved now or will they be saved?
