AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 6:16 Do you not know that when you continually offer yourselves to someone to do his will, you are the slaves of the one whom you obey, either [slaves] of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness (right standing with God)? |
Bible Question: Romans 6:16-18: "Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which you were delivered. And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness." Question: From a biblical perspective, are so-called "free thinkers" truly free? --Hank |
Bible Answer: IF YOU LOOK AT THE HOUSE OF ISREAL, GOD GAVE THEM THE 10 COMANDMENTS, THE PHARISES WROTE THE MISHNAH, THESE PEOPLE ALSO HAD THE ABILITY TO THINK FREELY,BUT AGAIN WHEN WE ERE FROM THE WORD OF GOD THEN WE BECOME THE PRODUCT OF OUR OWN IMAGNATION. THE ISRAELITES COULD NOT LIVE BY THE TEN COMANDMENTS AND NEITHER COULD WE. JESUS SHOWED THEM WHEN HE SENT THE ONES HE HEALED BACK TO THE PRIEST, SHOWING THEM THAT THERE LAW BOOKS WERE INADIQUATE. THE TEN COMANDMENTS WERE NOT WRITTEN TO SAVE BUT TO LEAD. DAIRYLEADER5 |
