AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed). |
Bible Question:
SINCE WE AREN'T JUSTIFIED IN GOD'S SIGHT BY PERFECTLY COMPLETING THE LAW,HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO ATTAIN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD 3-21-22 |
Bible Answer: Its all about the blood of Jesus that He shed for us on the cross. As has been stated, faith in the Lord Jesus is what counts. He paid the penalty for our sins once and for all. He came to earth from heaven. John 3:16. He died on the cross. He was in the grave three days. God raised Him from the dead which shows that the sacrifice was accepted. The whole bible is about the Lord Jesus and how he makes our relationship to God possible through His blood. It is not our righteousness but His. When God looks at us who have placed our faith and trust in Him, He sees the sacrifice of Jesus. We are to walk in obedience to Christ by obeying His commandments in the bible and his precepts. By doing this we are walking worthy of our calling. Hope this helps. |
