Bible Note: PART 1 I would like to add some quotations of my own in referrance to the tactics and the belief of the Watchtower. The Jehovah's Witnesses are consistantly being told that they can not study, or understand the bible without the Watchtower. In a Watchtower article, Jan. 15, 1983, under the heading, 'Avoid Independent Thinking', the Watchtower had this to say, "How is such independent thinking manifested? A common way is by questioning the counsel that is provided by God's visible organization.". A book called, 'Qualified To Be Ministers', under Private Study 39, Studying the Watchtower, was this; "If we have love for Jehovah and for the organization of his people we shall not be suspicious, but shall, as the Bible says, 'believe all things,' all the things that The Watchtower brings out, in as much as it has been faithful in giving us a knowledge of God's purposes and guiding us in the way of peace, safety and truth from it inception to this present day." I personally found this to be a lie and a deception on behalf of the Watchtower because of these three predictions.... |
