AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 11:26 and so [at that time] all Israel [that is, all Jews who have a personal faith in Jesus as Messiah] will be saved; just as it is written [in Scripture], "THE DELIVERER (Messiah) WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." [Is 59:20, 21] |
Subject: Will all of Israel be saved? |
Bible Note: Kalos, While I agree with the specifics of your response, the I would like to clarify the general tone. Believers today inherit THE promise to Abraham. Romans 9:9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. It is through the Son that Abraham is a blessing to all people. This is the substance of the promise. Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Through Jesus, His Divinity, His humanity, His death on the cross in payment for our sins and His resurrection, we inherit THE promise. We obtain forgiveness, the fellowship of the Spirit, resurrection and an eternal home with Him. John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. While we inherit the substance of the promise, the kingdom of heaven, we do not inherit the kingdom of David, the land of Israel, etc. |
