NASB | Romans 11:26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written, "THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." |
AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 11:26 and so [at that time] all Israel [that is, all Jews who have a personal faith in Jesus as Messiah] will be saved; just as it is written [in Scripture], "THE DELIVERER (Messiah) WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB." [Is 59:20, 21] |
Subject: Will all of Israel be saved? |
Bible Note: The only thing I would disagree with is part 6, regarding Romans 11:23-24. The verse says that "IF" they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in ... their belief is not guaranteed. But praise God for second chances, because if they do begin to believe in the Messiah Jesus, they can and will be grafted in again, much like the Prodigal Son of Luke 15:24 and 32, who was a son of the father, then BECAME "dead" and "lost" (Apollumi, literally "destroyed"), then repented, came to ask forgiveness, and was restored. |
