Subject: Ten Commandments obsolete? |
Bible Note: Hi, I agree with Prestor John. Yes they have become obsolete only by MAN'S doing. Yes, Jesus says he came to fulfill the law, but Jesus stresses (TRULY) in Matt. 5:18, For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. I think that some may get confused with the statutes and ordinances which were given by the Levitical priesthood. The Ten commandments are divinely given by our Father in heaven. One example regarding the ordinances and statutes and how God really feels about them, is in Jer.7:21-24. In verse 22, it says, I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. verse 23, But this thing commanded I them, saying Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. verse 24, But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels, and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward. It is clear that they didn't seek the guidance by our Father. The world feels they don't need him, or his Commandments of LOVE. This, Israel did often and look what happened many times by not Obeying God. But went straight to man, and it is still happening to some Christians and Israel today. And otherwise the world has completely forgotten God all together. They took the commandments out of the schools and off the courtroom walls. And took prayer out of the schools in the 1960's. So it's no wonder why. No where does it ever say in the word, Hey just throw them old things away, but if you just look around today, the women that are being raped and abused. Women have not won a case in public view. One of our supreme court judges of today Say, TAKE THOSE TEN COMMANDMENTS OFF THE WALL. After all, it was just a little pubic hair on your coke can, what's the problem? What does it matter now, I'm a supreme justice. What does it matter what she thinks at all. Our great black american women DISGRACED. Tell me there's justice at all. Ask Bill Clinton when he was still governor of Arkansas what his favorite song was, Me and Mrs.Jones. But it's behind me now, I play the saxophone. I always wanted to do a duet in the white house. You know her name, she's not no har-monica. A disgrace to ALL women. A disgrace to two men who swore upon the Bible to uphold all the rights of our citizens equally. Musicians sing about the degregation of women. The song about having an affair with a married woman, and is still a favorite today. But it says in Deuteronomy, Gather the family together and judge the rapist and send them back to me saith God to be JUDGED. Likewise also the murderer, and if we don't do these things that he has commanded us to do. That it will run rampant in the last days. Just look around. Now I ask you a question, and go out and ask as many as you can, for you to see, What is the greatest commandment of all? would be pleased to hear your answer, and survey says, Not too many at all.
