AMPLIFIED 2015 | Romans 10:10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous--being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. |
Bible Question (short): Do you have to announce to the members |
Question (full): Hello all. As a new Christian I have pretty much kept to myself about accepting Jesus as my savior. I feel that I'm not growing in my relationship with Jesus through my studies, readings and prayers. The youth pastor at the church I was talking, feels that I need to announce to the people at the church that I am now saved. He said that the bible saids to do this.. I can't find scripture to back this up. Does anyone know of where the Bible said that as a new christian you are suppose to announce to everyone at the church about your new salvation? |
