Bible Question: Did Paul really pray that all of Isreal would be saved? Did he really think it was possible? Obviously he could not pray for each individual to be saved. He would have had to pray collectively. Can we pray that all of America be saved? Can we expect God to do save all of America? |
Bible Answer: Hi Seneca Yes. 1 Tim 2: 3-5 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, We had prayer meetings on Wednesday nights and some nights we went into the streets and started praying for the people whoe lived in a street or blocks. It was usually collective. Then the following months we could not keep up with all the visitors (from these streets/blocks) that wanted to know more. Some accepted Christ. Jesus died for every one, we can not be selective, to whom we want to proclaim the good new. What is impossible for us is possible for God. Borgain |
