Bible Question:
Do you know where to find the verse is about friends are tto sharpen each other like iron verses iron? OR the one that spells out the biblical process of confronting an idividual on sin first one-on-one and then in small group? O Our group of girls, who have been childhood friends the past 15-20 years, would like to be able to clearly and lovingly speak to her and let her know why we believe the way we do and where the Word shows her that this is not an opinion we share but a direction from God's Word on how to live. We've always thought she was a Christian though not pursueing Christ, and now we believe that she has never had an encounter with God at all and is truely lost. She is very deceived by this other person and we are struggling to know how to proceed with out beating her over the head with it and further cause her to run to this other relationship. |
Bible Answer: Proverbs 27:17 talks about iron vs. iron. I cant find the one about confronting an individual on sin. As far as proceeding without beating her over the head with it let her know that you love her and how you as christians feel about it but other than that seek God out on it and ask him to confront her on it, but if she has made her mind that this is what she wants the rest is in Jesus's hands. Just keep praying for her. |
