Bible Question: Should homosexuals be ordained as pastors and church leaders in light of Romans 1:24-27 and other verses that condemn homosexuality? |
Bible Answer: Should a murderer be ordained? Or a thief? To ordain someone who is clearly adverse to the laws and commands of the Lord, is heritical. A former homosexual, who has repented of the past, and been reborn of the Spirit, is no longer a homosexual, and as such is no longer banned from obtaining a position in God's Church. We all at one time were as bad as a homosexual, separated from God by sin. Our repentance brought the new birth, putting to death our old man of sin, and allowing us a sonship role with God. |
