I cited some of the verses where we see laying of hands. Laying of hands doesn't prove the Holy Spirit and tongues are in play.

While once we see laying of hands and the Holy Spirit being received and tongues mentioned ... see see twice laying of hands and the Holy Spirit being received and tongues NOT mentioned (Acts 8:17-19, 9:17).

Again, to say people spoke in tongues in Acts 8:17-19 is not evident ... it is adding to Scripture.
