Bible Note: Thank you for your rebuke; it is very welcome. I will step from the boundries of "the box" and ask a simple question, "Why not?" If God wants us to do miracles, we will! If he wants us to move mountains, we shall. We are co-heirs with Christ. The Holy Spirit is given as our down-payment, before we see Christ clearly. "For now we see though a glass, darkly, but then we shall see in full." You may look up the verses (I have to leave in a few minutes), but the apostles did their miracles through the Holy Spirit. Again, I say that if it's God's purpose for us to do it, why can't we? Some things are accepted on faith, because if there was sight it wouldn't be faith anymore! And besides. Please show me how I'm taking verses out of context. And you might be right about that proof texting stuff…I'm so used to ninth-grade Geometry and the Proofs everyone hated so much. but anyway. Thanks very much. god bless |
