Subject: The "whole message?" |
Bible Note: Hi Aixen7z4, I believe that the whole message of Life is accomplished when we know the one God. 1) John 6:31, "Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written "He gave them *Bread out of heaven to eat." 32 Jesus therefore said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the *Bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true *Bread out of heaven. 33 For the *Bread of God is that [*One] who comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world." We can partake of the whole message when we know the Bread of life. 2) John 9:5, "While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world." The blind man was healed by the Light of the world. John 6:36, "...And who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?" 37 Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him, and He is the *One who is talking with you." 3) John 3:2, "this man came to Him by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a *Teacher; for no *One can do these signs that You do unless God is with *Him." 4) John 6:69, "And we have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy One of God." 5) Matthe 9:6, "But in order that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"--then He said to the paralytic--"Rise, take up your bed, and go home." 7 And he rose, and went home. 8 But when the multitudes saw this, they were filled with awe, and glorified God, [the *One] who had given such authority to men." 6) Romans 15:12, "And again Isaiah says, "There shall come the *Root of Jesse, And He who arises to rule over the Gentiles, in Him shall the Gentiles hope." 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." 7) 1Corinthians 15:27, "For He has put all things in subjection under His feet. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection", it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. 28 And when all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, that God may be all in all." 8) Acts 20:21, "solemnly testifying to both Jews and Gentiles of repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. 22 And now, behold, bound in *Spirit, I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit solemnly testifies to me in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions await me." Notice that I have capitalized Spirit as the marginal note for the NASB allows for Acts 20:22, and I believe that that goes along with Acts 19:21, "Paul purposed in the Spirit to go to Jesusalem..." So I would say that the whole message is a spiritual one that would teach us of the Bread of life, the Light of the world, the Teacher, the Holy One of God, the One with authority to forgive sins, the Root of Jesse (by the power of the Holy Spirit), that God may be all in all, and that we will be dependant on the Spirit to guide us and show us the things of God.
