Bible Note: EdB, I can't keep up with the multitude of posts. I'm working from a smart phone and won't be back until tomorrow. Most of what I saw was just gobs of speculation, but you did ask one valid question: why do I assume the 2 cor passage doesn't apply to business. I will bow out with an answer to that. I think that passage is specifically appealing to the church. It should be believers only. Paul states extremely clearly in 1 cor 5 that he has never meant for Christians to abandon interactions with outsiders. So I don't have to make lists for the 2 cor passages.
