AMPLIFIED 2015 | Acts 3:19 "So repent [change your inner self--your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God--seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; |

Bible Note: I believe Justme is correct, 2 Corinthians 6:14 (NASB) 14 Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Clearly tells us we have no business with darkness. I believe this is one of the biggest failures of the Christian Church today, too often we fade into the world instead of being a light to the world. We preach about sin, we may chant and protest about sin but after the spotlight is off too many today fade into the shadows and live like the world. How far you take this is determined by your conscious but if you know someone/something is promoting sin how do you justify becoming a part of it by yoking yourself to them. And you do yoke yourself if you buy or sell through them, you become a partaker of their business and they view you as their customer. It is just like the elections I fail to understand how any true Christian could have voted for someone that supported abortion and even worst partial birth abortion. Yet we know many so called Christians did and will probably do it again in the future. God have mercy! |
