Bible Note: On abortion I agree scripture does speak to abortion but the word abortion is not in scripture. Nor is a prohibition against a homosexual in the pulpit. They are wrong but you can not produce a verse that says God forebides an abortion or a homosexual in the pulpit. You can find verses that you interpret as saying that. But none say it. So it is not scripture alone, it is scripture and YOUR interpretation of it alone. That is my point. It is not always scripture alone. Many times it is our interpretation of scripture. And each of us have some unique interpretation of some part of scripture. |
