Bible Question: You know, Saul was the Pharisee's Pharisee. He knew the scriptures better than any other man of his time and he took it upon himself to "help" God by ridding the nation of Christians. It was not until his Damascus Road experience where he met Jesus, that he found out he was wrong--completely wrong. A question to ask yourself is this: You know the scriptures, but do you know Jesus? |
Bible Answer: Yesterday our message in church was on Paul's Damascus Road Experience and we asked God to give us a Damascus Road Experience. I am sure the Holy Spirit dealt with every person present, as He did with me. Our pastor asked Jesus to reintroduce Himself to each of us, as He did when we were first saved. Yesterday at church was a wonderful, Holy Spirit-filled time in the Lord's presence. So, therefore, having this fresh in my spirit, I ask each of you to examine yourselves and make sure your relationship with Jesus is what it should be. We can always grow closer to God. There is always more of Him to know and to experience. We are to love God and love our brothers as ourselves. I hope no one took offense at my question. Love in Christ, Janae |
