Bible Question:
Dear All, Question: has anyone ever given without receiving or taking? Love and respect, Little giam |
Bible Answer: Yes I have given plenty...money, time, compassion etc. In some instances I did not recieve anything back immediately. However the point of our example as christians is humbleness. We ought to not expect anything back. God of course will reward you, either here on earth or in heaven. Luke 6:35 puts it plainly for us all. The point of us giving is not a condition to recieve anything. God also states in Job 41:11 Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Anything that I recieve is by God's Grace and Mercy, because I surely don't deserve it. I hope this helps. Yours in Christ. |
