Bible Question (short): babies baptism |
Question (full): Be honest my friend, if we continue the verse to 40, and 41 it is stated that they gladly received his word, do you think little babies capable of understanding the word and received it and be baptized? The promise to thier children, of course they were received the bapptism if they understand already the doctrine, and I know you knew that "children" is not mean always "young ones or babies, even how old are you children is atill applicable to you. Ac 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. Ac 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. You write "We are simply not going to agree on this. Having now clearly stated our positions there is no point in going over the same ground again and again." It is very simple to me to agree, just show me the scriptures that will support your claim, and I will agree. Be reminded that this is a bible forum, so we should source our answers with the passages in the bible and not from somewhere else especially if it is about the doctrine of the bible.
