Bible Note: Jeff Let's look at what your agree with. Because in effect your saying Graceful is right defending a man that calls our Lord and Savior a PITIFUL EMANCIPATED WORM. Is that right? Interesting how some look the Lord. And yes it is very important how we view what happened after Jesus' death, we either believe His death was sufficient for our sins or we don’t. By adding that Jesus also had to be tortured for three days by Satan we actually are adding to scripture. Since that is not Biblical we then stand in danger of preaching another Jesus. Mormons say they worship Jesus and depend on Him alone for their salvation, however we know the Mormon Jesus (who they feel is the brother of Satan) is not the same person as the Christian Jesus. By having Jesus do or endure things that the Bible does not attest to we then find ourselves inventing another Jesus also. So yes the question is very important. Do not be deceived by people that make seemingly minor adjustments to the scripture whether through additions, omissions or out right changes. If they can slip a different Jesus past you and get to worship him as God they have you. EdB |
