AMPLIFIED 2015 | Acts 13:52 And the disciples were continually filled [throughout their hearts and souls] with joy and with the Holy Spirit. |
Bible Question:
Would anyone like to speak to an interpretation that would put the holy spirit in lower case for this verse. The verse would read like this: "And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with (the) holy spirit." This would be the interpretation for other verses concerning the "filling of the holy spirit" See Luke 1:15, Luke 1:41, Luke 1:67, Luke 4:1, Acts 2:4, Acts 4:8, Acts 4:31, Acts 9:17, Acts 13:9, even Exodus 28:3, and Ephesians 5:18. |
Bible Answer: I don't think we would want to write the Holy Spirit in lower case concerning the greatness character as the Spirit of the Father, and its uniqueness. Just like when we write Atlantic Ocean, Jupiter, or Urim and the Thummim. Millenious |
