Bible Note: Hi Phillip, Thanks for your note and I praise God with you. He is good. I don't believe that we need to speak in tongues in order to show that we have the Holy Spirit or salvation. I thought that perhaps that was what sharp was alluding to. I think that there are times when people lump the filling, resting, falling upon, indwelling of, the Holy Spirit or even holy spirit into one type of experience. And they can be very different. I think that we both can fine tune what the difference of the indwelling and the baptism of the Holy Spirit is for us according to the scriptures. I might say right now that I believe that the being filled with the holy spirit should be lower case although I believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Later, Ray |
