Subject: Teaching Bible Prophecy |
Bible Note: To bradk and hank You have stated that there needs to be a balance of teaching as far as what is being preached behind the pulpit. But yet the emphasis is on the teaching of salvation. If my interpretation is correct salvation can only be taught by using the teaching of Jesus as the main tool for accomplishing his great commission. The story of his birth, his ministry, his death and resurrection I agree that all this is vitally important knowledge in achieving salvation, but more important is the acceptance that he died on the cross for our sins. That I think we can agree on. But for me personally it was the teaching of end time prophecy that initially brought me to accepting Christ in to my hart. And for people like me who knew of Jesus, but didn’t get it until they herd it preached in a different way they to come to know him and have received salvation. And to go a step farther, there are people who believed in evolution that I have ministered to using the creationist approach (answers in genesis .org) and they have gotten saved. So can’t we agree for the most part that there are many tools and or approaches to be used to bring people to salvation? In our lord and savor creator and next king of our planet, Christ Jesus Tony |
