Bible Note: I can see everything is taken very seriously and lterally here in the Forum. Your correction about casting lots is noted. I look at the history as men thinking they need to help God when all the time God had a number twelve chosen all the time. Enough of that. It is the those who do the Lord's work in the backround never desiring to be in the forefront that are the real heros of the faith. The cleaner of the toilets, of the glass doors never seem to get the acknowledgement that the stars on the platform get. But don't you think that they do ot want to get their acknowledgement from men. They are about the Lord's work. They are doing to here from the Master "Well done good and faithful servant." Were would the church be if the only one we wanted to satisfy was the Lord. Pride is the hardest thing to overcome so we can die to self and be His alone. |
