Bible Question:
Where in the Bible does it say Jesus returns to the earth "in the flesh"? |
Bible Answer: Greetings Nehi! The simplest answer to your question is Acts 1:11. This verse says, "‘‘Men of Galilee,” they said, ‘‘why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”" We know from Scripture that Jesus was resurrected in a physical body, although it was a glorified one. Thomas touched Him. So, this verse says that Jesus will return in the same way; bodily, on a cloud, in full view of people. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
