Bible Question:
John 7:1-13 When Jesus did go to the feast, when He said "His time HAS NOT YET COME? I believe He meant it was time for him to be with his Father in Heaven. His time to leave us. Thank You |
Bible Answer: Sweet The actual verse says John 7:6 So Jesus said to them, "My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune. In the NLT it is a bit clearer. John 7:6 Jesus replied, "Now is not the right time for me to go. But you can go anytime, and it will make no difference. I don't think he was talking about being with his Father in Heaven but rather whether it was time for him to go more public with his ministry. Remember Jesus stayed in submission to God's will. EdB |
