Bible Question:
hello Doc, Thanks for all the help. I am reading John, and I had a question in John, 6:54 I understand He is the bread of life - I understand about the bread, but what does he mean by "drinks my blood" I am missing what his blood stands for _maybe washing away our sins? I think he doesn't really mean drink his blood, but what does the blood stand for? Thanks again for the help! |
Bible Answer: Hi, Zeag... It is a reference to the ordinance of communion; or it might be called eucharist in your church. See also 1 Corinthians 11, where Paul corrects the aberrant handling of communion in a particular congregation. In Him, Doc |
