Bible Note: Steve I'm a little lost in your answer NO please forgive me. I asked if it was possible to worship God and to live as righteous as humanly possible (we all sin and fall short) and to have never heard of Jesus. You I think said "no", then you cite Paul where he says we must go preach. Was not Paul talking about righteous men that had not yet heard of Jesus Christ? Let us make an example, let us say you are and Ethopian Jew you live a very righteous life as a Jew you await the Messiah. However your are isolated and happen to die in 60 AD long after Jesus emptied Abraham's bosom but before you ever of heard of what took place in Israel during he life of Jesus' ministry, His death and resurrection. In other words you were looking for the Messiah but you hadn't yet heard of Jesus Christ. Surely you believe that scenario is possible? If you do then do we know how God deals with this man? Please cite scripture. |
