Bible Question: Wow ... you do twist Scriptures, so I SHOUT STOP. Do you know what the worship menas in this passage. Is speaking in tongues are mentioned in the context of worship? |
Bible Answer: Dear one, Worship in the greek means (in part) to adore or to reverence. When I speak in tongues to Almighty God, I am yielding to His Spirit. The words that come from my mouth do not come from my own human reasoning, but from the Spirit of the Living God. How better to "worship" the Lord, than to submit ones self (mind, body, soul and spirit) to His Spirit! I am sorry that you believe that I have twisted the Scriptures. If you will re-read my post, perhaps you will see that I copied the Scripture precisely as written in the NASB. However, I am always open to receiving correction, if you will be so kind as to explain how I "twisted" what is written in the Bible. peace, prazn |
