Bible Question:
Dear Justme, What a wonderful response to my question. That explains a lot to me. Especialy the Colossians 1:15-23 referance,Thank you. You've just helped me to get closer to the truth. Could you give me more insight on His human form. When Jesus was a little boy(say 2 or 3), did He know he was God, Or did he realize it when he was baptized by John? And when he was walking the earth was he also(simultaneously)in the heavens? |
Bible Answer: Thank you for your interest and kind remark. Look at Luke 2:41 to 52. We know that He was aware of what His Fathers business was then, which was when he was twelve. I have a hard time relating to what a perfect child would behave like. I most surely was not one, and neither were any of our four! I do know of all the people on earth in the past or present or future only Mary was right to be his mother, and Joseph to be His step father. Now that is awasome to me, even to think about.I am sure Jesus developed just as we all do. If Jesus did not, than Jesus can not relate to us as He says He does. I am sure potty training, learning to speak, and becoming physically mature Jesus experienced what all boys do. Hebrews 4:14 to 5:10 gives some more detail. Jesus was Fully God and Fully human. That was the only way Jesus could be the final sacrifice for our sins. Fully human able to sin, but did not, to save me and who ever will make him their LORD. JESUS ENDED THE SACRIFICAL SYSTEM, AS THE FINAL BLOOD OFFERING FOR ALL MANKIND. How wonderful! That is mercy, grace, love, all rolled up in one. No, I do not believe Jesus was simultaneously in more than one place. Remember Jesus in the Garden Paryed to His Father that if there was any other way to save mankink to please let the cup pass from Him. Jesus was often alone praying with the Father. As we need to as well, and I confess my serious failing in prayer. I hope this helps some. agape, justme |
