Bible Note: Ocelot, Thanks for the response, from talking with others outside of this forum, you are not the only one with your views. Here is where I am having difficulties in all of this. As I said, I am very young in the LORD and am looking to do the right thing and follow HIS word. Here are my questions. 1) You said "As for all the finality mentioned by BradK in those verses, I don’t have a problem with them at all. I believe that Christ DID make the FINAL sacrifice. He paid it ALL. We pay NOTHING. All we do is accept the grace that God offers to us free of charge." If he paid it all, and forgave me for ALL of my sins, then why do I have to ask forgiveness for what has already been forgiven? 2) Is a sinless life here on earth, whle living in this human body, obtainable? 3) In 1 Corinthians 15:50, it says "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption." If our sins are forgiven and we are seen as perfect and reconciled to GOD, in can't be our flesh that was reconciled, the two natures warring against one another thing, why are we so worried about confessing every sin to GOD, and am I going to go to hell if I forget to comfess one? Thanks, Sam |
