Bible Question (short): Can i hate chickens and love JC? mt23:37 |
Question (full): Hi Steve! U asked: Who said God used a snake to represent Satan? Revelation 12 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Who said God loves Satan? Based on the Golden Rule, matthew 7:12 when God tells us to love our adversaries/enemies, does He love His enemy? 1 John 2:9-11 speaks of loving and hating people. The original question concerned snakes. It had nothing to do with people. But principle is the same for all of everything, doesn't it? Can we hate lambs and love the Lamb of God? Can we hate lions without hating the Lion of the Tribe of Judah? Can we hate snakes and love the snake God held up for healing as a symbol of Christ in Numbers and in John 3:14? See what I mean? Now here is John 3 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: and Numbers 21 6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. 9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived. And of course, Jesus in Love of snakes He Himself created called the Pharisees snakes among other things: Matthew 23 29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous, 30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets. 31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets. 32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Anf of course in Love of foxes he createdcalled Herod a fox: Luke 13 31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee. 32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. and in love of dogs called the woman a dog: Matthew 15 26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith WHICH WORKS BY LOVE GALATIANS 5:6 WHICH MEANS SHE LOVED DOGS TOO AND SO WAS NOT OFFENDED BY BEING CALLED WHAT SHE LOVED HERSELF AS!: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. Sorry to be so longwinded, but so i am not genuinely misunderstood, smile, i wanted to be sure that u knew that I am being honest and sincere and genuine and noble in love of course for the dishonest and for the insincere and for the ingenuine and for the ignoble. smile l and r, giam |
