Bible Question: Matthew 18:18 states, "Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Putting into context of the rest of the Matthew 18 passage, to what does this refer in relation to the church discipline of which it also speaks? Thank you for your help. |
Bible Answer: Bind or loose is the authority to announce guilt or innocence but not to deturmin. So we must be verry carfull with 18:19-20 this is NOT a grab bag. also see john 20:23 this is verry importent stuf not to be taken lightly at all. peas stj. |
