Subject: Paradise vs. Heaven |
Bible Note: We're not given any idea of the details on the actual "places" of Paradise or Hades. It seems pretty clear from the scriptures that they are a "holding pattern" for the souls who have passed on, waiting for the ultimate Judgment Day for all of us. In answer to your second question: Yes, we modern people or christians even might says "we're going to Heaven" after the passing of our lives and ultimately that may be true depending on the Judgment from our Father. But in reality, those that know their Bible should know about this information on Paradise and Hades. On the third question: Personally, I don't believe Paradise or Hades is on earth or is even a physical place. Since we're talking about Lazarus and the rich man AFTER their passing, we're referring to their souls in speaking to Jesus. Thus Paradise and Hades must be a spiritual sort of "place" or really a state of being. That's about all I know on this subject; we'll just have to wait on getting further details. Hope this helps.
