Bible Question:
Eph 4 talks about the oneness of the body Vs 1-6. What does this mean? |
Bible Answer: John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. The book of Ephesians is a wonderful consideration of what the body of Christ-the Church is. Eph. 4:3 encourages to diligently keep the unity which was made already at the cross. The analogy given in 1 cor 12 is that of your own body and I believe that is waht the Church is supposed to function as. Just like the early church in Acts. |
