Bible Question:
The joy of the Lord is my strength. This is a very popular verse that has been gnawing at my soul for years.I have researched it as far as i can go. What does it mean for my life? |
Bible Answer: Zoe my friend, That sure is an wonderful thought. Israel is rebuilding and they see their failure at the reading of the Law and are discouraged. Then, Nehemiah, who had been very instrumental in the rebuilding and had faced many a discouraging times comforts the people with the comfort wherewith he had been comforted-in the JOY of the Lord- None of his own ability. I believe what our Lord, Jesus Christ says in John 15:11 is in similar faith. I hope that helps a bit. The Lord Bless You. |
