Subject: more help please, about mormons |
Bible Note: What most people don't know is Mormons will use the King James Bible. But anytime the KJV contradicts the Mormon teaching they will go to the book of Mormon for the answer. So your friend can be very happy in a Baptist church until they say something about Mormonism then he will go to his Book of Mormon and prove them wrong. Again if you friend is lukewarm Mormon he probably does not know anything about Mormon history or actual Mormon doctrine. If it were me I would engage him in a conversation on who God is, eternal being, and once he buys into it then say how does that compare to what Mormons teach on God. One of the great mantra of Mormonism is, "As man is God was and as God is man will become" See they believe if they marry and seal a wife here on earth and live a good life, when they die they will be given a planet. Their wife will be with them and they will make spirit babies all through eternity. Then on this planet they were given they will take human form procreate thus starting the Human race on the planet and then they will transform back to Gods of the planet. As babies are born on the planet the spirit babies this Mormon man and his sealed wife procreated will inhabit the human babies giving them a spirit and this man and his wife will be God of that planet. To step up this process Mormon men are allowed to have more than one wife. In states that frown on Polygamy they just seal women so they will be married in the next life. So Mormon men look forward to ruling another planet and having constant sex with multiple partners throughout eternity. Mormon women look forward to being pregnant and giving birth to spirit babies all through eternity. Does that sound like a religion invented by man or what? |
