AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] |
Bible Question: Is Jesus talking about all sorts of peace in any sitation, or a particular situation? |
Bible Answer: He is referring to those who are his followers. Those who love, and believe in him. In other words that among them the peace that is not in the world should reign. When we have trouble or calamity, when we are hunted down or destroy. Let the peace that comes from knowing that we will not suffer or die in vain comfort us. We must be ready to face death at every moment of the day but despite all this overwhelming victory is ours. And all this promises given to us by our savior helps us live without fears in a world under the influence of the puny serpent that deceive Eve. May the peace of Christ be with all believers. |
