AMPLIFIED 2015 | John 14:26 "But the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor--Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. [Matt 5:7, 13, 24, 25; Luke 24:49; John 14:16; Acts 1:4] |
Bible Question: There are several examples in scripture of interaction between God the Father and God the Son (Mat 3-17, Mark 9-7, Mark 14-36 etc), and between God the Son and God The Holy Spirit (Mat 3-16, Mat 4-1 etc), but what about interaction between God the Father and God the Holy Spirit? |
Bible Answer: The Father sent the Spirit according to this verse and is seen elsewhere (Luke 11:13; John 15:26; Acts 2:33) Also we see: -Eph 2:18 "for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father" -1 Pet 1:2 "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to obey Jesus Christ.."
