Subject: who was the deciple whom Jesus loved |
Bible Note: I believe it was the same John. This is what I personally believe in that verse. I don't have any clue on if I am write or not, maybe I will find out someday in Heaven. I believe that John had someone do the actual writing of the book. John told the writer what to say, but I believe the writer stuck in the phrase "and the disciple whom God loved." without John actually telling him to write that. I am not saying that that verse should not be in there or that it is wrong in anyway. But I believe John himself when he wrote the book was humble. Thats just my personal opinion. Might be wrong I dunno. I am just happy that Jesus loves me anbd paid my penalty on the cross and everyone elses. |
