NASB	John 13:1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.
AMPLIFIED 2015 2015	John 13:1 Now before the Passover Feast, Jesus knew that His hour had come [and it was time] for Him to leave this world and return to the Father. Having [greatly] loved His own who were in the world, He loved them [and continuously loves them with His perfect love] to the end (eternally).

Bible Question (short): Christ - crucified before or after the P

Question (full): The three synoptic gospels have Jesus eating the Passover (Matthew 26:17-21, Mark 14:12-16, Luke 22:7-13) then being crucified. According to John, Jesus was crucified and slain at the same hour as the Passover lambs (John 13:1-2, John19:14,31). How is it that they can be different - either Jesus ate the last Passover with His disciples and was crucified the next day, or He was crucified during the preparation of the Passover?
